Protégées of producer/songwriter Richard Barrett, Fayette Pickney, Linda Turner and Shirley Porter scored a US hit with their first single, ‘Gee Baby (I’m Sorry)’, in 1965. Both of their Ariola albums are marvellous, and highly recommended!
